Things I Like: Scalloped Edges

I've been racking my brain trying to come up for a clever title for this post and it's just not possible. Mollusk jokes don't really seem appropriate for fashion blog, right? Anyways, scalloped edges have always been a favorite of mine.

Recently my passion for the dainty trim was re-ignited by this crazy-adorable Inari Chemise by featherbone that I picked up at Anthropologie:

Why limit my favorite edge to clothes? Behold a vintage Tea Rose Stationary Set:

A snowy white Faux Fur Cape, fit for a Mad Men Christmas Party:

I know a lot of girl like to wear bike shorts under skirts to prevent over-exposing themselves due to windy conditions...I'd prefer these scalloped Tap Pants by Lyell any day:

Of course I couldn't bring up the subject of scallops without mentioning Chloe! I wish I had been able to get my little mitts on this perfect Scalloped Skirt:

There's still hope if you're feeling crafty! Vain and Vapid has an informative tutorial, complete with a gin and tonic reward upon completion. All you need is an old skirt, sewing machine and some motivation. Oh and probably a lot of patience, too.

showing my love for the comfiest shoes ever.

I do realise I look a bit scary on these photographs, haha.

whiplash girlchild in the dark

I found this set on tumblr a few days ago...I do not know why it stands out from any other polyvore set as their are many on tumblr, but I love how the velvet underground's lyrics are featured on it and the glastonbury polaroid is cute too.V festival is next sunday...getting majorly excited for that.

THE VELVET UNDERGROUD,think they will be band of the week soon ;)

chanel a/w 09 and rose bud coat.

how amazing was chanel a/w this year? karl lagerfeld hit the right balance again, feminine, sophisticated, elegant but edgy still.

this coat is from topshop and it has a very chanel feel to it...i want it very badly,i always choose one special winter coat every year and i think this could actually be it...

credit to:wunderbuzz for the chanel a/w images
credit to myself if image is used:i screenshot and add words.

i am totally in love with it,the wedges are gorgeous and i have seen some very similar in H&M which i hopefully will be getting later this week,i really do need to start saving my money, yesterday i spent £35 at the seaside on who knows what,well...the kasabian dvd/cd,5 records,a new watch and a cupcake.
the shoes were only £14 though so considering i shall be with my mum when i go shopping later this week hopefully they will be a little treat.i.need.new.clothes.
