UPDATE: My exceedingly stylish and always in-the-know friend Gabriel informed me that the costumes in this film were designed by Giorgio di Sant'Angelo. Shame on me for such shoddy e-research!

Fashion on Film: Cleopatra Jones
Model turned actress Tamara Dobson plays the title role in this insanely campy blaxploitation gem from 1973. Cleopatra Jones is a not-so-incognito government agent who fights the war on drugs in 5-inch platforms and head-to-toe fur ensembles. My favorite moment is when she tears away her maxi skirt to reveal a matching unitard and proceeds to kill, like, 5,000 people. Netflix it now.
