Cat Classic!

Just wanted to give those of you in the Portland area a heads up that the Oregon Cats Classic is coming up on February 5th and 6th at the Expo Center! There will be 400+ meowing beauties from the Norwegian Forest Cat (my favorite) to the stately British Shorthair. If that's not tempting enough, there will also be a dazzling agility competition (cat circus!) as well as a costume contest. This is going to be good.

Ok,so when the Alexa hit stores this week,I was convinced I wanted it and was even considering buying it,but then I realised I only wanted this bag because its the ALEXA bag and because I love Alexa so much,looking at it,the bag is nothing special,it is rather lovely but there are many better Mulberry bags and many more stylish bags.

Saving for a Wang starts now.

I saw these photos of seventies actress and party fixture Christa Helm on Sighs & Whispers and was immediately smitten by both her cat and her collection of cheesy cut crystal objects. So amazing! Unfortunately Christa was brutally murdered in a Hollywood parking lot at the age of 28. Her purse, which was missing at the scene of the crime, was said to contain a "love diary" which chronicled her expoits with various leading men. A cover-up is rumored and her case remains unsolved. Coming Up Roses

Pink is my favorite color so I can't believe that I had never heard of the rose-breasted cockatoo, aren't they wonderful? They remind me of a few fabulous frocks as well!
